Instructions for school start in 2018

The procedure prior to registration in a national architecture school concerns foreign candidates residing in France or abroad who are nationals of other countries than:

  • The member countries of the European Union;
  • The candidate countries in pre-accession;
  • The member countries of the European Economic Area.

This procedure is based on Decree No. 2005-734 of June 30, 2005 relating to architectural studies and the decrees of July 20, 2005 relating to the procedures for enrolling students in architecture schools (Articles 23 to 28), and the training courses leading to the degree in architecture studies conferring the degree of bachelor and the State diploma of architect conferring the degree of master.

It concerns all students of foreign nationality wishing to enter one of the cycles of architecture studies.

Candidates residing in Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo-Brazzaville, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Egypt, United States, Gabon , Guinea, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Peru, Democratic Republic of Congo, Russia, Senegal, Singapore, Taiwan, Toga, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam, must necessarily connect to the website of the Center for Studies in France (CEF), corresponding to their country: http: // www. Candidates for architecture studies, regardless of the cycle concerned, may be subject to a test of their level of French: the TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français / French Knowledge Test).
 

In December and before January 20, candidates residing in France can visit one of the 20 French schools of architecture to withdraw the application file for admission. Files uploaded to the Ministry of Culture website must be submitted to one of the schools before January 22nd.

Applicants residing abroad must contact the services of the French Embassy in the country where they reside. In some countries, an online service is available via "Campus France". Foreign candidates holding or about to be holders of a French baccalaureate obtained in a French high school abroad must log on to the parcoursup.fr website.
